We traveled to Lumpkin, GA today to visit Westville...a working 1850's town. It was very interesting and very educational. Westville is about 10 minutes from where my mom's side of the family grew up in Cuthbert, GA so that made it kind of fun too...thinking about my great grandparents living much like the way the town was set up, farming and cooking....it was cool!
I took a ton of pictures because some of the buildings were amazing...and we tried some artsy, natural lighting kind of photography!

This was our favorite log cabin....probably middle class type of home. It wasn't fancy but big and natural and beautiful..
