Art Class

Emily is a taking a formal art class this year by a real artist/art teacher.  The teacher has been formally educated and has tons of experience in art.  She is teaching Emily and two other girls out of her home in a 1 hour and 15 minute private lesson 1 time a week.  We had to buy some cool art supplies from this really fancy art supply store.  Emily loves it, loves going, and by the look of her sketch book today, is getting a lot out of it!  I am so impressed! Emily really enjoyed art at CCS and we were missing that last year so I'm more than happy to pay the small fee to get a private lesson.  She looks forward to Tuesdays and the other mom and I have worked out a nice little carpool so that the other kids can pay while the bigger girls are in class.  Last week they worked on abstract art and today they worked on sketching birds.  This is only the 3rd lesson.
