John Daniel had a great experience playing Upward Basketball this fall! It is a great program and he had so much fun! The whole program is centered around having fun, knowing what is really important (God), and playing as a team. So now I will brag...John Daniel was actually pretty good. He was the top scorer on his team...and always seemed to do well controlling the ball and getting it to their side of the court to make a basket. His coach said he was "talented!" Funny because we have really never "worked" on it with him other than John and him playing around in the driveway when they are outside. Now he isn't very aggressive so if someone tried to take the ball from him, they usually got it! It was fun watching him play a different sport other than soccer. And he really liked it. I think he said it was his favorite sport so far.
