The arrival of our little one is just 5 days away and John and I thought we might take this last week to make the first two children feel, well, extra special! They have been such a big part of helping us get through this pregnancy, getting ready for baby, and redoing our house! It has been a kind of crazy 9 months to say the least. Saturday was John's Date with John Daniel. The men in Mine and John 's Sunday School class had decided to do a very low key father/son fishing tournament. There were about 25 guys that met down at St. Marks and got on all different boats for a 5 hour day of fishing. John decided to take John Daniel. This was John Daniel's first official fishing trip on the big water. He has been fishing off of docks and out of canoes but never in the ocean. They set off at 5:30 am. John said J.D. was a little nervous at first but got the hang of it and loved it. He fell asleep on the boat after awhile (I don't think he has ever been up that early). They all ate lunch together and talked about their catches. John's boat (he was with another father and son) pulled out the prize for most fish caught! John Daniel was the youngest fisherman out there!
