We have had a little breakthrough with Miss Molly! For 10 days now she is paci free except for nap/sleep. She is happier, whines less, not as many fits, more obedient, seems more joyful, enjoys life a little more, less crying, and a much happier disposition all together....Maybe she is just really happy to be home from DC! We were giving her the paci constantly for obvious reasons on our vacation..I mean a 15 hour drive...what was a parent to do :) She got very used to having it in her mouth during our trip, all times a day..to just survive our long days in museums and non 2 year old friendly places....yes, Mommy and Daddy were addicted to it as much as Miss Molly..
Things are going much better...I really think that John thought all this child did was complain and cry. We have had 1 1/2 really good weeks with her, although right now she is a little sick....
Let's hope her terrible 1 year old year ended with turning 2. We will be taking paci away all together in about a week after our weekend camping trip and her illness. I'm about 3 months later than I was with the other two kids (their pacifiers were gone at exactly 2)....then we will deal with potty training and moving to big girl bed....Being 2 brings BIG changes doesn't it!!!!
